"UNDER ONE ROOF ON ONE LAND"

Before the war, Nadiya Semenyuk, a resident of Lysychansk, Luhansk region, came to Vinnytsia often, mostly on vacation. She was born and raised in the village of Krasnenke, Illinetsky District. Her relatives still live here, and she is always welcome here. Visits to the native land were, as a rule, planned. However, after February 24, 2022, they became forced.

- On the morning of February 24, my husband and I were woken up by explosions. They immediately went down to the basement, which was equipped as a bomb shelter back in 2014. Even just in case, they set up small cabins with sunbeds and saved themselves there more than once. They did not think that they would have to again. I had to, unfortunately. My daughter, son-in-law and young grandchildren immediately came to us and hid. They lived not far from us in Lysychansk, in a private house. Now the orcs are "managing" there, a tank has been installed in the yard. We managed to evacuate on the last train. My daughter is currently renting a house in the village of Borysivka, and my husband and I live with my sister. We, like other temporarily resettled persons, were well received in the local community, they take care of us and help us. Thank you very much for everything! But no matter how good it is, I want to go home. Sometime in 2014, we also had to host immigrants from the Luhansk Energy Association in Lysychansk. People then were left without their own homes, without everything. We helped as much as we could. Somehow everyone survived that stage of the war together. They hoped that everything would calm down and there would be peace. And now this is enemy-occupied territory. In the end, they became immigrants themselves. War is a terrible disaster and great sorrow. Helping others is a sacred thing, for which good people will surely be rewarded - Nadiya Semenyuk shared her pain and memories.

It is good that the woman and her family turned to the Center for Humanitarian Aid of our Charitable Foundation "Rebirth Energy" in Illintsy. Together with other temporarily displaced persons, of whom there are almost four thousand, she received understanding and material support.

- I am very grateful, because we arrived, one might say, without anything. One bag with children's things and what we were wearing. Who would have thought that everything would take so long and we would stay for a long time. They give us good products, now clothes and hygiene items. We sincerely thank the Foundation for such support, all benefactors and caring people! Once again I am convinced that adversity brings people together. I believe in the victory of our people and I dream of returning home to Lysychansk with my family as soon as possible, - added Nadiya Semenyuk.

We would like to remind you that the Center for Humanitarian Aid in Illintsy is located at Pestelya Street, 1, working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. It is effective, targeted and guaranteed to everyone who needs it. There are already 5 Centers of the Charitable Foundation "Rebirth Energy" operating in the region.

Let's hold on, dear Ukrainians! Victory is ours!
